Hey there folks! Here we are again with another turnaround of one of my favorite Immeasurables, Infallible. As with his siblings, he is based on a character trait I haven’t often seen depicted in comics. Not only is he infallible, He IS Infallible. He only speaks the truth and therefore many have been tempted to manipulate his knowledge for their own personal gain. There’s just one problem; The truth hurts.
“Careful what you seek. For many who seek the truth have perished in this place.” – Infallible

Also, I know I am behind the times but I just recently discovered the series Invincible by Robert Kirkman, the creator of The Walking Dead. If you haven’t read this series it is well worth picking up the paperbacks. There are only 15 with Vol. 16 set to come out in July(and yes, it has been pre-ordered). The writing and story rivals any great fiction novel I have read and the artwork, mostly done by Ryan Ottley is phenomenal.

This series is so “out there” that I have been encouraged to know that there’s a place for new, crazy science fiction super hero stories.
Till next time!

Hello again folks!
As promised, here is some new artwork for The Immeasurables, albeit it isn’t the crisp and finished stuff. It is, however, some things we have been working on in lieu of updating the site for the last couple months.
The first image is of an Innapeasable (except for the head of the Five Eyed King on the left). There are two of these and they are bad news if their master deems you unfit to live.
The second drawing is a more completed version of The Innapeasable. I realize it is somewhat hard to see but it is just a rough sketch and we can’t give you the good stuff yet, right?
I just decided while writing this post that I’m not going to give too much description, because when the pages come out it’ll be better to surprise you with some of this stuff. You can rest assured though, that we’ve got some neat stuff in store for these guys.
Well, that’s all the time I have for right now, but I’ll be putting up new stuff as I get it scanned.
Till next time!

In the beginning there were six brothers. And of these six, the youngest was the greatest. The older five understood their inferiority to the one but knew the danger posed by his great power. So they conspired and one day as the brothers walked across an infinite plane they caused a great mountain to rise up under the youngest’s feet. He fought to regain his footing but could not stand and fight. The elders, however, could only hold their youngest brother captive for a brief time and as He gathered his strength, the five lost hope. In desperation they cried out to their father beyond the sky, Trisola, for help and he cast his spear upon the youngest, driving him deep into the ground and unleashing his never-ending flow of power. Seeing what harm would come from helping the brothers, Trisola turned them into five rivers to separate and channel their youngest brother’s power, thus weakening it. This is the burden they bear to this day for their treachery. Had it not been for the sacrifice of one, all may have been destroyed. The gift that was given Utopia through Aqueous’ death, was his mountain. And the sea that it holds has propelled us to new heights. When at first, we thought Trisola had forsaken us, we lost hope. Our primitive diggers were the only thing that allowed our greatest few to bury themselves deep in underground caverns. That is where we planned our escape. Our return to the surface was priority number one. And on that fateful day when the first Arachnodroid broke the surface we were not prepared for the images it sent back.
Well, it sure has been a bit hasn’t it? So long, I’m afraid, that it almost feels uncomfortable. However, I am back and given that my wife recently gave birth to our second child,
Fisher Thomas, I hope you all will understand(all three of you) if it’s a slow start back. Patrick and I have been focusing heavily on character and story development over the last few months and I believe the extra time spent has been worth it. We are knee-deep in character turnarounds right now and they all look incredible so far. I’m going to post them but I can’t decide whether or not to wait till they’re all done or post a couple at a time. I’ll decide soon. Maybe somebody out there could offer some advice.
The narrative above is an excerpt from my notes(so to speak) on The Immeasurables. It is what I am writing right now and the reason I’m posting it is because sometimes I wonder if my writing approach is still too “novel-esque” for a graphic novel. Or is that just how I write to capture the image in my mind?
Also, I’ve decided I need to draw a lot more. Even as the writer, it would make it so much easier to convey the progression with a simple sketch. Anyway, now I’m rambling. It really feels good to be back here writing. I know we’ve been away for a while but it’s only because we’ve been focusing our energies elsewhere on more productive steps in the process. Be looking forward to new artwork soon!
